Workshops coming up in the Fall:

September: 

 Quilts of Valour with Carolyn Jennings

Carolyn is the QOV representative for the Fraser Valley and quilts made will go to soldiers that have been injured and are recuperating.  There will be a simple and fun pattern presented (maybe two patterns?) plus labels and Canadiana border fabric will be available.  A fee of $5.00 will be charged for those attending.

October:

Heritage Scrap Quilt with Susan Barker

Susan has a great pattern for using scraps of fabric and this class will have something a little extra: an exchange of fabric squares so that your scrap quilt will have a large variety of colours.  This is a project that will encourage you to use up and trade some of those fabrics you purchased many years ago and are wondering what to do with them.  Susan has streamlined the instructions and will teach the basic block as well as setting squares on point.  Cost is $10.
